Firewatch must be conducted during High Risk activities and 2 hours post activity.

Residential Activities remain allowed before 1pm with a Firewatch during and 2hrs after activity. BC Wildfire Regulation Prohibits the following activities during Extreme Risk Conditions within 300m of forest:  mechanical brushing; disk trenching; preparation or use of explosives; using fire- or spark-producing tools, including cutting tools; using or preparing fireworks or pyrotechnics; grinding, including rail grinding; mechanical land clearing; wood chipping, milling, processing or manufacturing.  Refer to our page on Industrial activities for more information.
